The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Advisory for portions of central, east central, north central and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas are Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Parke, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion and Warren.
South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use extra caution while driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
