Clinton County Under Winter Storm Watch Until Sunday

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Storm Watch until 4 a.m. Sunday for central, east central and west central Indiana, including Clinton County. Heavy mixed precipitation is possible from late Friday night through late Saturday night. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze is possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren counties.

Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant slow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
