Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Saturday in Clinton County

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Clinton County from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Mixed precipitation is expected. Total wet snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected, and ice accumulations of a light glaze are possible for portions of central, south central, southeast and west central Indiana.

Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions and also should expect reduced visibilities at times. A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing ran will cause travel difficulties. Motorists are urged to use caution while driving.

Besides Clinton, other affected areas are Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Decatur, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Jennings, Johnson, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe, Vermillion and Warren.
