WISE Program Returns to Clinton County to Promote Healthy Aging

Healthy Communities of Clinton County Coalition has announced the return of WISE (Wellness Initiative for Senior Education), a program designed to support and encourage healthy aging among older adults in the community.

The upcoming WISE cohort will be held every Monday in June from 1 to 2 p.m. at Wesley Manor’s event center. Organizers say participants are welcome to attend a single session, multiple sessions, or the entire series. Attendees will also receive a fun gift for each Monday they participate.

WISE is an evidence-based program that focuses on educating seniors about important health and wellness topics. Sessions include information on safe medication use, understanding the aging process, effective communication with healthcare providers, and strategies for maintaining a long and healthy lifestyle.

Community members are encouraged to take advantage of the free program and connect with others while learning practical ways to improve their overall well-being.

No registration is required to attend.

The Healthy Communities of Clinton County Coalition continues to provide programs and resources aimed at improving the quality of life for residents throughout the county.
