Witham Health Services has been recognized in the 2023 Healthiest Employers of Indiana, and the Top 100 Healthiest Workplaces in America. This is an awards program created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population. Witham was recognized because of their commitment to workplace wellness and exceptional health and benefits offerings.
The Wellness Center located at our main hospital campus in Lebanon, offers our employees educational programs, exercise classes, cooking classes, health screenings and other health tips. Many of these same programs and classes are also offered to the community. Witham is a great partner in community events and health initiatives throughout Boone County. Our Wellness team promotes healthy lifestyles and activities in our schools and businesses. Throughout Indiana health factors differ and communities that are healthier thrive. We’re so excited that Witham ranks #2 in Indiana healthiest employers rankings and continues to improve and foster health equity in our community.
Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics. Completed assessments were ranked with the proprietary Healthiest Employers® Index, a 1-100 rubric for wellness programming. The survey is scored and powered by Springbuk, a health intelligence platform that simplifies data-driven decision-making with an intuitive user experience, predictive modeling, and curated action steps.
Witham was awarded 2nd in Indiana and 33rd in America! Witham was also inducted into the Healthiest Employers Hall of Fame in 2022, one of only 20 organizations to earn this level of success.
