Witham Hospital Under Temporary Entry Restrictions

Due to the significant rise in viral illness activity in our community, temporary entry restrictions are in effect for the safety and well-being of our patients and staff.

Beginning Thursday, March 26, patients will be screened upon entry using a screening questionnaire and temporal body temperature.  Patients will only be able to enter through the hospital’s main entrance from 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the emergency room entrance 24/7. All other entrances will be closed until further notice. There will be staff available to help transport and direct patients to other areas of the hospital and building for their appointments.

No visitors will be admitted with the exception of: end of life care, special circumstances, Labor, Delivery and Post-Partum Unit (One pre-determined visitor will be allowed).

Witham Health Services apologizes for the inconvenience to our patients and visitors, but we know the restrictions are necessary to protect and provide a safe environment for our immune-compromised patients and for our staff. The restrictions remain in effect until further notice.
