‘Witham Society’ Angel Awards Presented to Four Individuals for Outstanding Community Service

EMTs Andrea Micksch, Kasey Copeland and Jacob Pell along with Paramedic Mike Fleming hold their Witham Society Angel Awards they were presented by Witham President/CEO Dr. Raymond Ingham.

Witham President/CEO, Dr. Raymond Ingham presented Andrea Micksch, EMT, Kasey Copeland, EMT, Jacob Pell, EMT and Mike Fleming, Paramedic Tuesday with the “Witham Society” Angel Award for outstanding community service in saving a man’s life on Monday October 22. The farmer was involved in a combine accident where both his legs had to be amputated on the scene.

Witham Society is an elite donor level within the Witham Health Services Foundation. The Angel Award has only been presented three times in the Foundation’s 30-year history.  It features a Waterford crystal Guardian Angel, and publicly recognizes individuals who have significantly impacted the life of another human being.

“The EMT’s and Paramedics heroic acts embody the principles and ideal of Witham Health Services humanitarian mission of saving lives and delivering compassionate care,” said Dr. Raymond V. Ingham, President/CEO of Witham Health Services.

After the presentation Witham celebrated the “The Power of Teamwork” with a pizza party for all staff.
