Witham Unveils Covid Visiting Guidelines

Witham Health Services has unveiled new visiting guidelines. Everyone will be required to always wear a face mask and must not have any COVID symptoms. Social distancing and hand hygiene guidelines must also be followed. Witham Health Services apologizes for the inconvenience to our patients and visitors. The visitor guidelines will remain in effect until further notice.

Inpatient Visiting Hours:

11:00 am – 1:00 pm

  • Non-COVID patients will be allowed 1 adult visitor per day during visiting hours.
    • Visitors must remain in patient’s room during visit.
    • Visitors must sign in and out at Main Registration desk.
  • End of Life (COVID and Non-COVID)
    • 2 visitors at a time (24/7) with no COVID symptoms.
    • Full PPE required at all times.

Maternity Center:

  • 1 adult designated support person allowed.
    • Must remain in patient’s room during visit.

Outpatient Settings:

Emergency Department

  • Patients will be allowed 1 visitor during their ED stay.
    • Visitor must stay with the patient at all times.

Surgery / ACS / Radiology / Lab

  • 1 visitor allowed.
    • Visitor must stay with patient

Extended Care Unit:

Please call the unit at 765-485-8300 for updated visitation guidelines.

  • Must screen at the desk upon entrance, wear a mask, and social distance.
  • Residents in the green zone are able to have 2 visitors per visit in room.
  • No children under the age of 12.
  • Must go directly to resident’s room.

Clinic Visits & Outpatient Services:

  • 1 visitor allowed.
    • Visitor must stay with the patient.
