In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Women’s Expo is returning to the Frankfort Community Public Library on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 30 businesses and organizations will take over the second floor with products ranging from sourdough, chocolate, greeting cards, jewelry, cosmetic products, woodworking, dog treats, purses, and more.
In our Skanta Theatre, we will once again welcome speakers to our stage. “Women Who Shape Tomorrow,” a series sponsored by the Zonta Club of Frankfort, will feature speakers: Erin Popovich, Krista Stillwell, and Esmeralda Cruz. Popovich, the Chief of Staff for the Purdue for Life Foundation, is a three-time Paralympian who took part in the Paralympic Games in Sydney, Athens, and Beijing winning a total of nineteen Olympic medals. Stillwell, founder of Stillwell & Co., built her business with the goal of helping business owners and non-profit leaders guide their businesses by using strategic storytelling and sustainable marketing techniques. Cruz is currently the Community Engagement Specialist with Purdue Extension. Previously, she established and led multiple initiatives within Clinton County along with community partners, while serving as the Health and Human Sciences Educator for Purdue Extension. She continues to make a lasting impact to the community of Clinton County.
Attendees can also enjoy our Women’s Exhibition in the Hubbard Gallery featuring artwork by Rena Brouwer, Janelle Driggs, Terri Duncan, Beth Hullinger, and Lisa Walsh. These works will be on display March 5–31.
