YMCA Announces Partnership With The Farmer’s Bank

The Clinton County Family YMCA and The Farmer’s Bank have announced a partnership focused on strengthening the health and well-being of residents of Clinton County. This partnership focuses on enhancing the Y’s library of fitness videos, at home personalized fitness programs, workplace wellness programs, and new free weight equipment on site at the Y.

This partnership was established in light of the Y’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. President and CEO of the Farmers Bank, Karin Gregerson, said,  “The Farmers Bank is committed to the well-being of the whole person, financially and physically. We are pleased to partner with the YMCA who has been particularly innovative during this unprecedented time to bring physical wellness to our community.”

Chief Executive Officer, Tristen Comegys, of The Clinton County Family YMCA elaborated and said, “When we were mandated to close due to Governor Holcomb’s Stay at Home Order we instantly asked ourselves how we could still serve our community through their health and wellness journey when we didn’t have an onsite fitness center to serve them. Our only option was to pivot to online platforms. That uncovered an audience that we didn’t know existed. We are so thrilled about this partnership because it is going to push the Y into the future and better meet the needs of our community.”

Clinton County can expect to see the Y roll out a new website with video content, a mobile application that will allow for push notifications and online program registration, and an at home personalized fitness program over the next few weeks. New free weight equipment will be delivered in July. Workplace wellness programs will be available to businesses within Clinton County after July 6th.
