YMCA Announces Several Special Events Coming Up

July Membership Special

At the Y, we work everyday to improve individual and community well being. That is why we offer monthly membership specials. In July, we are offering two free personal training or two free sports conditioning sessions with your new membership. Information about membership can be found at www.ccfymca.net or call (765) 654-9622. At the Y, we don’t turn anyone away because of your inability to pay. Membership at the Y is open to all, information about our financial assistance program is available at the front desk.

Before and After School Care Registration

The Y will begin registering children for before and after school care on July 15th and will continue throughout the school year. Care is available for children who attend Clinton Prairie Elementary, Blue Ridge Elementary, Green Meadows Elementary, or Suncrest Elementary Schools before and after school.

Care begins at 6 a.m. and children attending before school care will be transported by YMCA staff to their respective school. In the afternoon, children will be picked up at their school by YMCA staff and transported to the YMCA for parents to pick up their children by 6 p.m. Children attending the program will receive a snack before school and dinner after school.

Now Registering for Fall Soccer Until August 18 
YMCA soccer is designed to encourage participation and having fun. Kids are taught basic game skills like trapping, dribbling, shooting, and passing. This program is open to children 3-14 years of age. The program will begin in September.

Through the Aspire at the Y Program, residents of Center Township receive complimentary youth sports and swim lessons courtesy of Center Township of Clinton County. The program cost for children outside of Center Township is $30 Members/$60 Non Members. Financial assistance is available.

 

Youth Dodgeball Coming Soon

On August 15, the Y will begin registration for our new Youth Dodgeball league until September 15. Age brackets will be determined based on interest. The program will begin in October.

Now Enrolling for Preschool and Child Care

Our early learning program, Learning Ladder Early Learning Preschool and Child Care is a combination of child care with preschool program. Openings are available from infant to 5 years old. The program is offered daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, care is available 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The curriculum Learning Ladder uses is research based Creative Curriculum.  The comprehensive research based curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills. We’ve chosen this curriculum because it focuses on the skills and knowledge that are most important for helping your child to be successful in school. Throughout the year, The Creative Curriculum for Preschool will help us plan learning experiences that are just right for your child, so that he or she can make progress at his or her own pace.
