The Clinton County Family YMCA in Frankfort is in the process of trying to attract individuals to the facility with several new initiatives in the coming year.
Some of the items are as follows:
- new cardio fitness equipment just arrived in the fitness center.
- a new Youth Activity Center opening will be held in late January or early February. It has a traverse climbing wall and youth size fitness equipment. The YMCA is trying to get kids involved in something more productive before idle hands get them into trouble with the wrong person approaches with drugs, theft, etc.
- January weight loss program with $850 in prizes, overall winner with a $400 cash prize.
- no contracts on membership starting in January to help lift the barriers of joining.
- gift certificates available for membership.
- new spin bikes arriving in mid to late January
