The Zionsville Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Counselor-in-Training program for youth in the community to learn more about leadership with hands-on experiences.
The program intends to offer teenagers an opportunity to become leaders through hands-on experience, mentorship and skill-building while enjoying the fun of camp.
The program is designed for ages 13 through 15 and will operate on a first come, first served basis. A limited amount of positions will be available for ages 4 through 8.
All participants will be required to attend a mandatory camp training session on Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Zionsville Nature Center.
Applications for the program must be submitted by this Friday, March 28 at 4 p.m., and registration may be completed at zionsvillein.myrec.com.
