The Zionsville Police Department has encouraged community members to participate in the Season of giving by donating blood next Tuesday, Nov. 19 through the Versiti Bloodmobile, which will be parked at 1075 Parkway Dr. in Zionsville.
The department is hosting the blood drive next Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the department’s front parking lot to ensure ease of access to donate.
Versiti stated that donors should ensure they eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating.
“Did you know donated blood will typically be used within 24-48 hours after your donation?” Versiti released. “Your generosity helps to ensure local patients have the transfusions and treatments they need to heal, survive.”
