The driver of the Mitsubishi later identified as Noah Potter of Indianapolis, lost control of the vehicle as it came to a stop in the front yard of 2000 block of South CR 950 East. Potter and a juvenile fled the vehicle on foot. A search of the area for both suspects was initiated utilizing a drone, and multiple K-9 units including a bloodhound. A short time later police were able to locate the juvenile.
At approximately 8:26 a.m. Saturday, law enforcement was dispatched to a location on Saddlebrook Court for an individual knocking on their door claiming to have had his vehicle break down. As Zionsville Police and Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies began to arrive on scene he was immediately identified by law enforcement as Potter. Potter was detained after a short foot pursuit and taken into custody.
The Boone County Prosecutor’s Office will review the following charges submitted by the Zionsville Police Department:
Resisting Law Enforcement;
Possession of Marijuana;
Possession of Paraphernalia;
Criminal Mischief.
