The Town of Zionsville and the Whitestown Big 4 Trail extension were announced as the Outstanding Trail Project of the Year.
The towns announced Thursday that they received the honor as the Outstanding Trail Project of the Year from the Greenways Foundation this year just in time for the Zionsville Greenfest and the Town Showdown where community members will take to the trails in a competition to show town pride.
“Thank you to Whitestown Parks and Recreation and Zionsville Parks and Recreation for their hard work in connecting the trail for their communities,” the towns released.
