Zonta Club of Lebanon Hosting Auction Event in April

Area businesses aren’t the only organizations hit hard by Covid 19. The Zonta Club of Lebanon has seen an increase in the need for its programming while the pandemic has eliminated much of its financial support. Until now! This strong group of Hoosier women is standing firm that Covid19 will not eliminate their mission to help local women and girls.

Zonta is taking its annual “Ladies’ Night Out” Auction & creating a “Ladies’ Night In” Auction event to be held from Friday, April 9, to Sunday, April 18.

This isn’t just another fundraiser! They are hoping that people all over central Indiana (and the country) will participate in this online event. And, if successful, the Zonta Club of Lebanon is optimistic that they can get a national following along with their local backing through the use of social media like Facebook.

Small, but mighty, the Lebanon Zonta Club supports local non-profits like Support the Girls in Indianapolis, So Big Mountain House, Live for Life, Central Indiana Teen Challenge, LUMC Children’s Home, Isaiah 117 House, Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center and the Lebanon HS Z Club. While Zonta is an international club of more than 31,000 women in 65 countries, the Zonta Club of Lebanon currently has 21 members, was founded in 1965, and serves its local female population with scholarships, services, and financial aid.

In the meantime, their work must continue. They need your help to support their local efforts through this online auction, any donations/grants, and an increase in awareness, advocacy and membership. Stay safe and spread the word.
