Sarah Lynne Brankle, 32, of Burlington, passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, on June 30, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1989, in Lafayette, Indiana. She was the daughter of Dennis L. and Sharon L. (Burton) Lipp. She married Scott Alan Brankle on May 28, 2016 at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church near Rossville; he survives.
Sarah was a 2007 graduate of Rossville High School and then furthered her education at Ivy Tech where she received an associate’s degree as a paralegal. She worked in the Carroll County Superior Court starting out as a Bailiff then was promoted to Court Reporter. Sarah enjoyed going to St. Augustine, Florida, garage sales and auctions, Betty Boop, ducks, dogs, alligators, camping, playing games, and the color purple but most importantly, Sarah loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Scott of Burlington and her parents, Dennis and Sharon Lipp of Rossville, Sarah is survived by her son Brady Lipp of Burlington; sisters, Denise Crockett of Frankfort and Dawn Lipp (husband, Nathan Davis and son, Gabriel Davis) of Indianapolis; Scott’s paternal grandfather, Larry Brankle of Kokomo; father and mother-in-law, Jerry (Jill) Brankle of Galveston.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Glen (Mercile) Burton and Annabelle Burton and her paternal grandparents, Denver (Jeanne) Lewis and Michael Lipp. Also preceding her in death are Scott’s maternal grandparents, Daley (Virginia) West, and Scott’s paternal grandmother, Garnet Brankle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. The funeral service will be private at a later date. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
Memorial contributions in Sarah’s honor may be made to the family to help with medical expenses.
