Janice Louise (Kelley) Rustin, 81, of rural Kirklin, Ind., died at 2:20 a.m. October 20, 2018 at her home. Born March 27, 1937 in Cannelburg, Ind to Cecil J. & Marguerite (Summers) Kelley. She married Robert Joseph “Joe” Rustin on March 2, 1963 and he survives.
Janice was a homemaker and also owned/operated a plaster/craft store in Mt. Vernon, Ill. She was head of the elementary school PTO and was very active in schools while her children were growing up. Janice enjoyed genealogy, quilting, flowers, and loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by: husband: Joe Rustin of rural Kirklin, 2 sons: Jeff (Jennifer) Rustin of Kirklin and Ken (Shannon) Rustin of Lebanon, 2 daughters: Valerie Rustin of Forest and Sandy Davis of Acworth, GA, 7 Grandchildren, Dayton, Rebecca, Victoria, Allison, Rachel, Stephanie (Jordan) Osborne of Woodstock, GA, and Ricky (Linsey Boyd) Davis of Acworth, GA, and 7 Great Grandchildren, Brody, Ryder, Dexter, Brooklynn, Rory, Keeleigh & Kennedy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Carolyn Morton and Debbie Beasley and a brother, Larry Kelley.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
