The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Central Indiana, including Clinton County.
Widespread rain will develop this afternoon with embedded thunderstorms. Strong wind gusts this evening through the overnight. Hazards include locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, small hail and lightning. Wind gusts peaking at 40 to 45 mph late this evening through the overnight.
A strong low pressure system will track into the Great Lakes this evening bringing a cold front across the region this evening. Once the cold front passes, strong wind gusts will be possible overnight. Strong winds with gusts up to 40 mph will be possible Sunday. Rain and thunderstorms will be possible again Wednesday night and early Thursday.
