The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the Winter Weather Advisory until 9 a.m. Tuesday for portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, southwest and west central Indiana, including Clinton County.
Light snow mixed with freezing rain and drizzle along with additional snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of a light glaze is expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. With early morning temperatures dropping into the middle 20s and freezing snow and slush on untreated roads, the hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas include Bartholomew, Brown, Daviess, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Howard, Jackson, Jennings, Knox, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Montgomery, Randolph and Tipton.
