Story by Tammy Klecz Danner,
What a joyous evening had by approximately 250 people that attended the Evening with Santa at Arborwood. There were thirteen crafts for them to do, Hot Chocolate, cookies, Peppermint Ice Cream, cookie making, Santa Express, Carriage rides, Santa and Mrs. Clause and a surprise visit from the Grinch along with live Christmas carols song by Jason Wells and his beautiful family. I can’t say enough how proud and honored F.U.N. (Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhoods) is that we can put on such an eventful evening for our community and help make lasting memories . Seeing the faces of the little ones along with their families is what it is all about. This would not be possible without the community coming out and supporting us along with all our sponsors, partners and volunteers. I can’t count the number of people that came up and thanked F.U.N. for putting on this event along with all our other events. One person even said they wished they had become involved with us before now, saying you all are doing awesome things for our community and states we will see him at many more of our events. We would like to thank Jason Wells, his family, Main street for donating the Santa Express, Greg Garrison for playing Santa, Tanya Shircliff Howe for playing Mrs. Claus, Arborwood for such a loving place to hold our event and all that donated cookies, and volunteered their time to help make this another successful event put on by F.U.N. Remember to BE THE CHANGE along with helping us put UNITY BACK INTO COMMUNITY.
