The Clinton County Fair Council’s Annual Winter Storage Program is accepting reservations. Recreational vehicles, trucks, cars, tractors and other equipment will be stored beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, and remain in storage until 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018. Anyone not able to remove their equipment at the designated time are asked to have a friend or family member remove it for them.
In order to insure space is available, anyone wishing to store an item is encouraged to request a registration form from the Clinton County Fair Council, 125 Courthouse Square, Frankfort, Indiana, 46041. Upon completing the form, registrants are asked to return the form with their fee of $10.00 per foot, (tongue to tail).
The Fair Council asks that all equipment be brought through the main gate in the northwestern corner of the fairgrounds. Final processing will take place in front of the 4-H Building where drivers will be directed where to take their equipment for storage.
OTHER ACTIVITIES COMING UP AT THE FAIRGROUNDS INCLUDE:
Diesel Dirt Drags at 6 p.m., Saturday, October 21. This is a new event. The Clinton County Fair Council has prepared a 300-foot dirt drag-strip with a 600-foot run-out area in front of the grandstands.
Admission at the gate is $7 for spectators. Those wishing to purchase a $20.00 Pit-Pass will be asked to sign a waiver of responsibility.
Demolition Derby at 6 p.m., Saturday, October 28. This follows the Demolition Derby at the Clinton County & 4-H Fair in July which drew an estimated 3,500 participants and spectators.
Admission at the gate is $7 for spectators. Those wishing to purchase a $20.00 Pit-Pass will be asked to sign a waiver of responsibility.
Food will be available at both the Diesel Dirt Drags and Demolition Derby.
