Clinton County Republican Chairman Jim Moyer has announced that he has received notice of the resignation of Clinton County Treasurer Carol J. Bartley.
Pursuant to IC 3-13-11-4, we are hereby notified of a caucus to fill this vacancy on Saturday, May 16, at 10 a.m. at the Neighborhood Center in Frankfort.
A person who wishes to be a candidate for this office must file a declaration of candidacy with the Chairman at least 72 hours before the time fixed for the caucus (IC 3-13-11-7b). The deadline will therefore be 10 a.m. on May 13. Form (CEB-5) is available from GOP headquarters or from the county clerk’s office in the courthouse. The form is also available in the City Clerk-Treasurer’s office in Old Stoney.
