Eleanor Grace Morlan, 92, of Frankfort, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at Wesley Manor. She was born May 11, 1928 in Bourbon to Graham and Grace (Huiteman) Grossman. She was a 1946 graduate and valedictorian of Bourbon High School. She married Darrell E. Morlan on July 24, 1949. He survives.
Eleanor had several jobs over her lifetime. She worked as a babysitter, worked at Montgomery Ward, and worked as an Assistant Manager for 15 years for Dairy Queen. She was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, travelling and was an avid reader.
Along with her husband of 70 years, Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Donna (Bryan) Hoyt of Zionsville and Sherry (Robert) Harter of Fort Wayne; sister, Ruth West; and grandchildren, Douglas Stellhorn, Christopher Hoyt and Jonathan Hoyt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with the arrangements.
