Tammie Shields

Tammie Suzanne Shields, 59, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her home. She was born in Frankfort on March 4, 1961 to Ellis Leon and Vivian Jane (Winslow) Hall.  She married Phillip Greg Shields on February 27, 1987; he preceded her in death on November 29, 2010.

Tammie graduated from Clinton Prairie in 1979.  She worked for CNH Industrial Warehouse in Lebanon, retiring in 2011.  She was also a bartender at the Moose and Pepe’s.  Her interests included camping with her husband, going to concerts with her daughter, Wendi and her husband, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Tammie is survived by her mother, Jane (Vivian) Hall; daughters, Wendi Hall of Frankfort and Malori Shields (fiancé, Torrence Strickland) of Brownsburg; sisters, Pamela McClaskey (Bryan) of Darlington and Candy Taylor of Pittsboro; and grandchildren, Jysiah, Kyrie, and August.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 11:11 a.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Burial will follow at Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry.  In adherence to the current CDC guidelines, it is requested that guests follow the appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks.
