Inside INdiana Business is reporting two Zionsville companies have announced expansion plans. Combined, the investments from 120WaterAudit and Gear Marketing could total more than $900,000 with each company creating some three dozen jobs by 2021.
120WaterAudit, which offers subscription-based water quality testing technology, was recently the Indianapolis region winner of the high-profile Rise of the Rest competition co-founded by former AOL CEO Steve Case. Co-founder and CEO Megan Glover says “120WaterAudit is an emerging leader in water quality technology and testing kits that help consumers and water quality managers test their fixtures for lead and other harmful contaminants that may exist in drinking water. We are excited and grateful to continue our mission and growth with the support and partnership of the Town of Zionsville, the IEDC, and the Boone EDC. We are happy to be members of the burgeoning tech environment and will gladly scale our organization in Indiana.”
Gear Market is looking to grow its footprint in the Northwest Tech Park. It was launched last year following the merger of communications and marketing companies Stringcan and Sonar Studios. CEO Vince Freeman says “there is no denying that Indiana has become an epicenter of innovation and entrepreneurship in the growing mar-tech industry. We are happy to call it home and look forward to continuing be a part of this thriving and active community. As fast as the technology changes in our industry, the partnership with the state and its training assistance will go a long way in ensuring that our employees stay ahead of the curve.”
