Indiana State Horseshoe Championship Held At Curt Day Courts In Frankfort

Indiana Sate Horseshoe Championship took place Curt Day Horseshoe Courts located at Dorner Park, Frankfort Indiana.
Big Country BBQ was on hand for some great food.

The horseshoe court is named for Curt Day , Curt was one of the best horseshoe pitchers ever to play the game always consistently had a ringer average in the mid eighties in all the tournaments he entered. He was Indiana State Champion several years, including 1953, 1955, 1957, and 1959. Through to 1968 he won the title eighteen times over all.

Horseshoe pitchers from all over Indiana was at Curt Day Horseshoe courts Saturday 9-11, to get their chance to become Indiana Champion.
