R. Jean Beard, 92, of Frankfort, died December 17, 2021 at Wesley Manor. Arrangements are pending with Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort at this time.
The list is long for the community-minded causes Jean Beard generously backed. Jean and Bill Beard were well known for their generous support for capital raising projects such as the Boys and Girls Club, YMCA building, Church giving and many other causes.
Without fanfare, Jean and Bill Beard would often make the largest annual contribution to the Boy Scouts of America in the entire district.
