The Boone County Chamber Board of Directors has named Sean Reaves the new Executive Director of the Boone County Chamber of Commerce.
Sean Reaves will be starting on July 24, 2023, as the new face of the Chamber and is happy to be returning to Boone County. “I began my nonprofit career helping open the Lebanon Witham YMCA in 2010. I am looking forward to this new opportunity to be back in Boone County to support the business community,” said Reaves.
Board President Donald Barrett believes Sean will bring a professional and amicable approach to the Chamber. “Out of the many strong candidates that were interviewed, Sean stood out based on his expertise in nonprofit management and natural ‘connector’ personality. We are excited to see where he takes the Chamber.”
Reaves’ focus for the Chamber is to not only build new connections but focus on the current initiatives and businesses that are already invested in the Chamber. “As the new Boone County Chamber Executive Director, I am very excited to begin advocating for existing Chamber Members as well as growing our current membership base. We will focus on continuing to provide high quality programs that benefit our membership, while also focusing on strategic partnerships and connections.”
With his past passions in nonprofit leadership and business management, Reaves is looking forward to this opportunity. “This role is the perfect marriage between my two passions nonprofit leadership, and business management. I am a ‘connector’ by nature. I thrive in an environment where I have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships,” said Reaves.
The Chamber has a lot in store for upcoming years and is excited to have Sean’s leadership.
