The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that a permanent traffic signal will be installed at the intersection of State Road 39 and County Road 375 North in Lebanon as part of the LEAP project that ties into the area.
Installment for the new traffic signal will begin on or after Monday, March 25, with crews closing one lane at a time on State Road 39 to allow for installation of the permanent signal. During the installation period, a temporary signal will be installed to maintain one lane of open traffic on State Road 39.
Work on the permanent signal is expected to last a few months, estimated to conclude around June, as weather permits, and the Indiana Department of Transportation has released a statement encouraging drivers to maintain their patience while driving through the area and to avoid speeding and distracted driving through the work zone.
