The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind Chill Advisory along and west of Carroll County to the Hendricks County line and also along and north of Interstate 70 over west central Indiana, including Clinton County, from 2-11 a.m. Thursday.
Winds chills of 15 below to 20 below will occur late tonight and early Thursday. Very cold wind chills are expected for portions of central, north central and west central Indiana. Frostbite can happen in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
Low temperatures tonight will range from zero to 5 below and even colder temperatures will occur Thursday and Friday night with low temperatures from 5 below to 10 below.
Besides Clinton, other affected areas are Boone, Carroll, Clay, Fountain, Hendricks, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren.
