United Way In Carroll County Launches Into Action Through Expansion

Community members throughout Carroll County bound together on Thursday, Aug. 15 to celebrate the introduction of the United Way in Carroll County to the community while learning more about the opportunities the nonprofit offers local organizations.

The United Way in Carroll County hosted a Meet and Mingle event for the community of Carroll County to become more involved in the organization and learn about its plans for 2024 and the future as it begins solidifying its role in the community.

The United Way in Carroll County Meet and Mingle event was held at the Wabash and Erie Canal at 1030 N. Washington St. in Delphi and acted as the official launch of the organization in the county. The event was free to attend and open to the public with opportunities to learn more about what is in store for the United Way in Carroll County moving forward and how community members can become involved, and the event saw numerous tables filled with guests sharing their enthusiasm for the introduction of the organization.

The event also provided opportunities for attendees to enjoy food and networking as well as having a chance to win a $500 donation to the nonprofit of their choice.

“We are so excited to officially launch our expansion into Carroll County,” the organization released. “We look forward to all the great things that will happen when we work together. Thanks to all who joined us for this launch event.”

The United Way in Carroll County acts as an office of United Way of Greater Lafayette.
