Per the Clinton County Board of Commissioners decision, the burn ban in Clinton County has officially been lifted as of 10:30 a.m. today, Nov. 7.
Carroll County has also lifted its burn ban. Boone County was not entered into a burn ban.
With the lift of the burn ban, community members may resume opening burning, such as trash, brush, leaves and more, preferably supervised and consistently managed, campfires, bonfires, fire pits and burning in barrels or containers.
Fines will no longer apply for those that participate in open burning activities otherwise permitted prior to the burn ban.
