Witham Health Services has been recognized in the 2024 Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America, an awards program created to honor people-first organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employee population.
Witham Health Services was named #2 in Indiana and #28 out of the top 100 workplaces in America. Vice President Planning and Post-Acute Care at Witham Health Services Steve Bardoczi shared his thoughts regarding the recognition.
“Witham is richly blessed to have such a wonderful group of Wellness Coordinators and Leadership by Trina Rose; because of their efforts, Health and Wellness has been made much more of a priority for our employees,” Bardoczi said. “The Wellness exercise and cooking classes, and monthly communications have made Wellness accessible to our employees and community members. Witham is fortunate to have this wonderful program led by this talented team.”
The companies awarded with the honor were recognized based on their commitment to workplace wellness and health and benefits offerings. President and CEO at Witham Health Services Kelly Braverman shared her thoughts on Witham receiving the honor for 2024.
“At Witham Health Services, we feel called to care for our neighbors; supporting them to live healthy, active lives and helping them heal in times of injury and illness,” Braverman said. “Employee wellness is a crucial aspect of any organization, and healthcare is no different. Our Wellness team helps create a positive work environment that encourages our staff to make healthy lifestyle choices here and at home. That same Wellness team goes beyond the walls of this organization into our community to impact the overall health of Boone County and beyond.”
Witham Health Services provides a full service comprehensive Wellness Program. Since 2009, the program has continued to evolve for the employee, the patients, the local school systems and the community at large. Wellness Coordinator at Witham Health Services commented about how her team and the leadership of the facility have striven to maintain the wellness of staff, patients and more.
“I’m so grateful for our incredible Wellness team, the support of our leadership and I’m so proud of everything we’ve been able to do so far and really look forward to the things we can do in the future for our employees and patients,” Rose said.
Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories, including Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions and Reporting and Analytics. Completed assessments were ranked with the proprietary Healthiest Employers Index, a 1-100 rubric for wellness programming. The survey is scored and powered by Springbuk, a health intelligence platform that simplifies data-driven decision-making with an intuitive user experience, predictive modeling, and curated action steps.
