The DAR (National Society Daughters of the American Revolution) held their annual recognition night for Clinton County Students in essay contest.
One student from each county school is chosen to right an essay each year and then judges pick their winner.
This year the winner is Natalee Richey of Rossville High School. Other enteries were Landon Ramirez -Frankfort High School, MaKayLynn Webb -Clinton Central High School, and Kyle Harshbarger – Clinton Prairie.
Of the four students one was able to attend the recognition night and read his essay to the members and guests. That student was Kyle Harshbarger, Clinton Prairie.
Cookies and cider was served after the event.
