The Frankfort Fire Department celebrated the promotion of three firefighters to the role of Lieutenant in preparation for the new Station 4 expected to be built within Frankfort.
During the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting Monday evening, Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets swore-in three firefighters into their new position of Lieutenant, including Korben Shirar, Russell Sheets and Enis Becirevic.
“As key members of our team, they will be essential in leading our new station 4 and creating new procedures to enhance our incident response capabilities,” the department released. “Their dedication and expertise make them ideal candidates for this role.”
The department also celebrated the swearing-in of two new firefighters, Griffin Harris and Wade Peters, who joined the department to support the expansion of the city’s fire protection services.
