Frankfort High School announced over the weekend that the engineering department of the school has received a grant to continue one of its pathways that provides opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience as they prepare for continued education and the workforce.
Engineering teacher Mr. Dainon Wray shared that the school received a $15,000 Project Lead the Way Engineering grant that will be utilized to cover teacher training, purchasing equipment and expanding programs offered to the students involved with the pathway.
Wray further shared that Frankfort High School is seeking to add vex robotics for the students to exercise their knowledge and creativity even further as well.
