Akira Rose Davidson

Akira Rose Davidson, 15, of Monticello, died July 8, 2021 in her home.  She was born on September 13, 2005 to Rose M. (Chapin) Bennett and Monti R. Davidson, and they survive.

She was starting this fall as a Sophomore at Twin Lakes High School, and was a member of the Robotics Club and Color Guard there.  She worked at Sycamore Drive-In Ice Cream Shop in Monticello and enjoyed any and all crafts.

Surviving are her Mother: Rose M. (Richard) Bennett of Frankfort; Father: Monti R. (Brittany) Davidson of Monticello; Brothers: Brandon D. Weitzel of Burlington and Jesse R. Bennett of Frankfort; Step-Brother: Tristan Hurley of Monticello; Step Sister: McKenzie Sparrow of Burrows; Grandparents: Jane Kemmerer of Frankfort, Ken and Sharon (Keeney) Chapin of Frankfort, and Rebecca Pettit of Texas; Great-Grandmother: Mary Chapin of Minnesota; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Marcia Stowers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial Will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made in Akira’s honor to the Twin Lakes High School Robotics Club, with envelopes available at the funeral home.  Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com, where you may share a message with the family.
