Augtoberfest Brews In Downtown Lebanon Tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 17

The Heart of Lebanon will host its annual Augtoberfest event this year tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 17 in downtown Lebanon as a Bavarian-themed extravaganza to raise funds for the organization to continue its events into the future.

The Augtoberfest 2024 event will polka into action tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 17 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Lebanon on Meridian Street for community members to experience a Bavarian-themed beer fest with live polka music, German food and games.

The event will be $10 for tickets, and a $30 package including entry, a Bavarian-style hat, an Augtoberfest pin and an Augtoberfest shirt will also be available to raise funds for the Heart of Lebanon’s initiatives in downtown Lebanon.

Attendees will be treated to opportunities to purchase German-themed food and artisan pretzels along with frosty domestic and craft brews.

Tickets may be purchased online in advance for faster entry, and those who purchase the tickets online receive a 20-ounce commemorative plastic beer stein at check in that may be used at the beer cart for larger pours. Beer tickets at the event will be $7 for an approximate 16-ounce pour.

Your favorite Bavarian-themed 21+ celebration, hosted by The Heart of Lebanon in partnership with State Bank, takes place in the city’s beautiful downtown square under the lights

Enjoy dancing with friends and family to music from the Indianapolis Liederkranz German Band as well as a wandering accordion player.  The Fort Wayne Tanzer, a german folk and schuchplattler dance troupe will be on hand to get you in the dancing mood.
