It is with a mix of sadness and gratitude that the United way for Clinton County announces Carolina Booth’s departure as Executive Director of United Way for Clinton County, effective May 24, 2019. Since 2017, Carolina played a critical role in the development of the organization and the transition into the impact work model that goes beyond funding community organizations. We want to thank her for the two years years of dedicated service which involved many significant accomplishments including:
- The oversight of the United Against Opioid Project that allowed us to assess community needs and aspirations as well as to bring community and stakeholders together.
- The continued growth of relationships with our corporate partners, employees, and donors.
- The continued growth of our relationship with our funded partners in the fight for health, education, and financial stability.
- Advocacy efforts at a local, state and federal level for early childhood investment in Clinton County.
- The oversight of the Clinton County Promise 529College Savings Program in partnership with other community organizations and investors to allow every kindergartner in Clinton County to begin an account.
While we will miss her and her inspiring leadership and passion, we wish her the best luck in her new endeavor as Community Development Officer with United Way serving Howard & Tipton Counties.
The Board of Directors wants to communicate and ensure to the community that the organization operations and services will continue un-interrupted. The United Way Board has created a Leadership Transitional Team responsible to ensure continuation of organizational operations while the Executive Search Committee completes the process to recruit a new Executive Director. All current programs will continue to be supported as planned.
You are welcome to reach out to the UW for CC Office through e-mail at [email protected] with any questions. There will be a Thank-You Open House for Carolina at the United Way Office at 1100 Walnut Ave., Frankfort, IN on Wednesday, May 22nd from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with light snacks and drinks available. We owe a lot of appreciation to Carolina for what she has done for our community while leading the United Way for Clinton County the last two years.
