The sectional brackets for the Boys Tennis State Tournament were revealed on Monday. Sectionals begin today and will run through Oct. 5.
Sectional 41 – Harrison (West Lafayette)
Rossville will travel to West Lafayette to join Harrison, Benton Central, Lafayette Jefferson, and West Lafayette in Sectional 41. At the top of the bracket, Harrison will play Benton Central tomorrow at 4:30. At the bottom, Lafayette Jefferson gets the bye and awaits the winner between Rossville and West Lafayette. Rossville’s match is scheduled for today at 4:30.
Sectional 42 – Frankfort
Frankfort will play host to McCutcheon, Lafayette Central Catholic, Attica and Seeger. At the top of the bracket, Seeger will take on McCutcheon for a spot in the sectional championship, that match is set for 4:30 p.m. tomorrow. On the bottom of the bracket, Central Catholic gets a bye and awaits the winner of Frankfort and Attica, that match will be played at 5:30 p.m. today.
The Hot Dogs took down Tipton 3-2 in the final match of the regular season. Winners included Kelby Santos at two singles, Sam McAtee at three singles and Charlie Beardsley and Isai Jimenez at one doubles.
Sectional 43 – Logansport
Carroll and Delphi will make their way to Logansport, joining Twin Lakes and Lewis Cass in Sectional 43. At the top of the bracket, Delphi draws the host team Logansport on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. for a spot in the championship. At the bottom of the bracket, Lews Cass gets the bye and awaits the winner of Carroll and Twin Lakes tonight at 4:45.
