Carol A. Bower, 79, of Frankfort, passed away July 14, 2021 in her home. She was born on May 12, 1942 in Frankfort to William and Mary (Leslie) Chandler. She married Bob A. Bower on February 22, 1969 in Jefferson and he survives.
Carol was a lifelong Frankfort resident and attended Frankfort Schools. She worked for Federal Mogul for 7 years and National Cigar Factory for 11 years but her biggest role was of wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed shopping with her sisters.
Surviving are her Husband: Bob Bower of Frankfort; Sons: Joe (Opal) Bower and Dennis Bower both of Frankfort; Daughters: Sonja (Dennis) Jones of Frankfort and Sara Bower of Richmond; Sisters: Naomi Large of Frankfort, Sharon (Ed) Spray of Michigantown, Esther Roberts of Frankfort, and Kathy (Jerry) Wise of Colfax; Brother: Charlie (Wilma) Chandler; 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Mary Chandler, son: Mark Bower, sisters: Nancy Spaulding and Suzy Northern, and a brother: William Chandler.
