Clinton Central Jr-Sr High School is celebrating a major academic achievement after 14 students earned their associate degrees while still in high school through a dual credit partnership with Ivy Tech Community College.
According to a school announcement, the graduates completed a combination of 51 Indiana College Core dual credits offered through Clinton Central, along with additional dual enrollment coursework through Ivy Tech Community College. One student, Luke Harris, was noted as not pictured in the recognition.
The achievement highlights the strength of the school’s early college programming, which allows students to earn significant college credit alongside their high school diploma. Through this pathway, students were able to meet requirements equivalent to an associate degree while completing their secondary education.
Officials at Clinton Central Jr-Sr High School praised the students for their dedication and academic commitment, emphasizing the time, effort, and perseverance required to complete college-level coursework while still in high school.
“Earning a college degree while completing high school is an incredible accomplishment,” the school noted in its statement, adding congratulations to the students and encouragement as they move forward in their academic and career paths.
The district also recognized the milestone as a reflection of both student effort and the strength of its dual credit programming, which continues to expand opportunities for college readiness and early degree completion.
