Clinton Central Lady Bulldogs Are Regional Champions

The Class A No. 2 Bulldogs (24-1) won their first regional title since 1997 after defeating Northfield (12-13) 58-16 on Saturday at the Bellmont Regional in Decatur Indiana a long two hour drive from Clinton Central.

In the regional championship game Northfield scored 10 points in the first quarter and the Bulldog tough defense held Northfield scoreless in the second quarter and allowed only six points in the second half.

Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Sara Parkison leading the way with 22 points, Carly Davison and Erika Robbins each had 11, Kortney Surber 6, Emily Long 4, Landree Whiteman and Lynnsie Wallsmith each added 2.
