Both the Clinton Central boys’ and girls’ swimming teams captured championships in the Hoosier Heartland Conference meet held Feb. 10 at Michigantown.
The boys scored 135 points to win the title. Delphi was second at 72, followed by Eastern at 70 and Carroll with 25.
The girls took the title with 119 points. Eastern placed second at 77 followed by Carroll at 66 and Delphi had 47.

Prairie Falls to Tipton in Regional Final
Tipton outscored Clinton Prairie 14-2 in the second quarter en route to a 48-35 victory over the Gophers in the Class 2A regional championship game Saturday night in Frankton.
Clinton Prairie finishes its historic season at 21-3, Prairie captured its first regional semifinal victory in Saturday’s 49-40 victory over Rochester. That was the first regional victory since the 2001-2002 season.
Clinton Central Downs Faith Christian
Drew Hosteter scored 27 points, including eight three-pointers, and Logan Whiteman added 18 points, 12 rebounds and five assists as Clinton Central rolled past Faith Christian 70-48 Friday night in Lafayette.
The Bulldogs used stingy defense and an offensive explosion to take an early lead and never looked back.
