With the Clinton County Fair drawing to a close, there are a few events and items on the docket for Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, the Lama Show gets underway at 8 a.m. at the CIS Livestock Arena, which will be the site of tonight’s Supreme Showmanship competition along with the 10-year member recognition and awards which starts at 7 p.m.
Also scheduled Friday is Dan’s Fish Fry, which will run from 5-8 p.m. at Edward Jones 4-H Community Building and the Triple Threat Band performs from 7-10 p.m. in the Entertainment Area.
Saturday will feature the Dog Show starting at 8:30 a.m. and the BBQ Contest which runs from 9 a.m. until noon in the North Parking Lot of Clinton Hall. From 4-5:30 p.m. will the dinner of winners and auction buyer dinner at the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building.
Starting at 6 p.m. is the 4-H Livestock Auction at the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building and the Demolition Derby begins at 6 p.m. in the Grandstands. At 8:30 p.m. in the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building is the Bear Hollow Wood Carving Auction.
