The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for 14 counties in central Indiana, including Clinton County, until 8 p.m. Tuesday (tonight).
Besides Clinton, other affected counties include Boone, Carroll, Delaware, Fountain, Hamilton, Henry, Howard, Madison, Montgomery, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren.
This includes the cities of Frankfort, Anderson, Attica, Carmel, Covington, Crawfordsville, Delphi, Fishers, Flora, Kokomo, Lafayette, Lebanon, Muncie, New Castle, Noblesville, Tipton, Veedersburg, West Lafayette, West Lebanon, Williamsport, Winchester and Zionsville.
Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and tonight. Isolated severe storms are possible. Damaging winds, large hail, locally heavy rain and frequent lightning are possible.
