The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of central, east central, north and west central Indiana, including Clinton County, until 9 p.m. Monday.
Besides Clinton County, other affected areas are Carroll, Delaware, Howard, Madison, Randolph, Tippecanoe, Tipton and Warren. It also includes the cities of Anderson, Delphi, Flora, Frankfort, Kokomo, Lafayette, Muncie, Tipton, West Lebanon, West Lafayette, Williamsport and Winchester.
Mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an inch. Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution while traveling.
