Sydney Swan had 19 points an Rylee Ward added 10 as Clinton Prairie defeated West Lafayette 46-32 in girls’ basketball action Tuesday night in Jefferson.
Swan added six rebounds for Prairie, 2-0 on the season.
The Gophers outscored West Lafayette 20-4 in bench points.
It was also the first meeting between the two schools since 2014.
Clinton Central Falls to LCC
Caitlin Dineen had a game-high 21 points to lead Lafayette Central Catholic over Clinton Central 57-38 Tuesday night in Lafayette.
Allison Robbins led Clinton Central, 2-1, with 14 points. Kendall Davison was next with 10 followed by Sam Adams with seven and Sara Parkinson had six.
Adams also had 12 rebounds for Central, while Davison adding 11 boards.
